Domodedovo International Airport (Russian: Домоде́дово) Template:Airport codes is an airport 35 km (22 miles) south of Moscow, Russia (Template:Coor dms). Moscow has several airports, of which the most prominent are Sheremetyevo International Airport and Domodedovo. Domodedovo leads in domestic flights and flights to the CIS countries and is starting to challenge Sheremetyevo in number of international passengers. At present (2005), Domodedovo is the main airport of Russia, surpassing Sheremetyevo even in number of international passengers. It recorded 13,960,000 passengers in 2005.

Service of Domodedovo started with a flight to Sverdlovsk (present Yekaterinburg) using a Tupolev 104 in March 1964. The airport, aimed to handle the growth of long-distance domestic traffic in the USSR, was officially opened in May 1965. Two parallel runways were put into service 18 months after the opening of the airport. On 26 December 1975, Domodedovo Airport was selected for the inaugural flight of Tupolev 144 to Alma Ata.

Starting from 1996, Domodedovo Airport was operated by East Line Group on a 75-year lease although the runway are still controlled by the state. The group has been heavily investing in reconstruction of the airport, arranged for customs to be more convenient and the airport is kept clean. Because of problems at Sheremetyevo, British Airways, Qatar Airways, and Swiss International Airlines flocked to Domodedovo. Other lucrative airlines such as Emirates and SN Brussels Airlines also moved to Domodedovo. Meanwhile, Aeroflot had moved all cargo operations to Domodedovo.

Domodedovo is linked to Moscow by the Aeroexpress to Paveletsky Rail Terminal. The ride lasts 40 minutes and passengers (hand luggage only) can check in at the station.

East Line plans to more than double terminal space to 225,000 square meters in the next year and to invest a further $300 million into construction and upgrades in the next two years.
