Image:Inseadlogon2.jpg INSEAD is a top-tier business school with campuses located in Fontainebleau near Paris and Singapore. INSEAD was founded in 1957 as a privately funded, independent European business school. As of June, 2005, the school has 144 faculty members who teach 870 MBA students, 6,400 executives and 71 Ph.D. students from over 75 countries on two campuses. Students often study both in France and Singapore.

INSEAD's global perspective and multicultural diversity are reflected in aspects of its research and teaching. The INSEAD-Wharton Alliance, announced in May 2001, combines INSEAD's resources with those of Wharton's campuses in Philadelphia and San Francisco. The school has been certified by EQUIS and AMBA. Current dean is Gabriel Hawawini. He is replaced in July 2006 by Frank Brown, who is currently Global Leader of Advisory Services for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

2000 August: INSEAD's first development campaign achieves €120 million in corporate and private sponsorship.
2000 October: Official opening of the INSEAD Asia Campus in Singapore.
