Griffin Family

• Peter Lowenbrau Adolf Griffin – Peter is 42 years old, born in the month of July (therefore a cancer). Peter is a large legally retarded man, who often gets into bad situations, which are only made worse as he tries to get out of them. He formerly worked as a production line worker at the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Factory. He invited his boss to dinner and managed to secure a promotion, only for his boss to choke to death, leading to the company's closure. Following this, he became a fisherman. At the end of Season 4, Peter crashed his boat and was temporarily stranded on an island with Joe, Cleveland, and Quagmire. After they were rescued, Peter got a job working in the Pawtucket Patriot brewery where he works far away from the beer for someone who is clearly more mentally disabled than he is. He has also previously been a jouster, sheriff, cast member on The Electric Company, a ghostbuster, career soldier, sneeze guard, member of Simon and Garfunkel (creative differences being what led to his stint as a career soldier in Vietnam), an HSI agent, CEO of and Congressional lobbyist for "El Dorado Cigarettes", Death, one of The Wonder Twins, folk singer, host of Family Feud, a Cavity Creep, the "Green Guy", mayor of "New Quahog", Sandy Duncan's glass eye, Kevin Federline's magic mirror, provider of night time heat for Lara Flynn Boyle, pirate television station operator, and, briefly, President-For-Life of Petoria (his own house and garden, which was apparently never legally part of the U.S.A). Husband to Lois, father to Meg, Chris, Stewie, and Bertram and technically, the owner of Brian.
• Lois Griffin – Born into the wealthy Pewterschmidt family, Lois gave up her inheritance in order to marry Peter, but she is still careful about keeping up appearances in front of others. Lois teaches piano in order to supplement the family's income, although she spends most of her time caring for her family. She is 40 years old. It has also been hinted on several occasions that she is very promiscuous. In Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story it was revealed that she once experimented with lesbianism.
• Megan "Meg" Griffin – seventeen-year-old daughter of Peter and Lois (although, according to Brian, Meg's real father is a man named Stan Thompson). Meg spends her time worrying about fitting in with others her age at her school (James Woods Regional High School), and tries hard to find acceptance. She has a crush on Kevin Swanson and was born with a tail. Served as a "Junior Anchorperson" for Channel 5. Lost her virginity to Jimmy Fallon during an episode of Saturday Night Live. Meg has become a scapegoat for many cruel jokes about her looks, mannerisms, and general existence. In Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story she had a sex change and changed her name to Ron
• Christopher Cross "Chris" Griffin – fourteen-year-old son of Peter and Lois. He is not very intelligent, and is overweight like his father, although he has a tremendous talent for drawing. He attended the Buddy Cianci Junior High School up until the end of the fourth season, when he became a freshman at James Woods Regional High School. He seems to be the only character dumber than his father. He is the only child to never have another man suggested to be his father. Some viewers mistakenly think that Chris is older than Meg because he is slightly taller.
• Stewart Gilligan "Stewie" Griffin – One-year-old son of Peter and Lois, who inexplicably has a British accent. Stewie is an incredibly intelligent person, and harbors ambitions to take over the world, but more importantly to kill Lois. Thus far his plans have been foiled by those around him who don't take him seriously. In the episode "Mr. Griffin Goes to Washington", it is revealed Stewie's evil aspirations may be due to the fact that Lois smoked pot while pregnant with him. Misunderstanding exists among fans whether or not anyone actually understands Stewie (the question is even brought up in the "E Peterbus Unum" episode), but MacFarlane stated in commentary that he and his staff have decided to never set a rule about it, saying whether or not the other characters understand him will depend entirely upon what the writers feel like doing at the time. It is generally accepted by fans that though his parents understand Stewie, they write off most of his talk of murder, world domination and the like to be the imagination of a baby. Seth MacFarlane has implied that the character is based on Rex Harrison. Fans of the series speculate that Stewie may be a homosexual (in one episode, Stewie remarks, "I sometimes wonder if all women are this difficult. Then I think to myself, 'my God, wouldn't it be marvelous if I turned out to be a homosexual?'" There have also been other small suggestions that Stewie may be gay, such as a Gilbert and Sullivan-esque musical number where a naval crew tells Stewie he's "a world-class poof" and in the episode of Y2K, once in his radiation suit he says, "I feel like a gay Neil Armstrong..."). In an episode that was scrapped before making it past storyboard phase of production, MacFarlane said that Stewie was supposed to have admitted that he was gay. It should be noted that Stewie has fallen in love with a female on more than one occasion. Brian (the dog) is the only one in the show who can hear him 100% of the time and actually takes him seriously, so they often end up paired together in comedic situations, such as the episodes "Road to Rhode Island" and "Road to Europe", which are parodies of the Bob Hope and Bing Crosby road movies, such as Road to Morocco and Road to Rio. In Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, it can be inferred that Stewie is now actually 5 years old, based upon the fact that he traveled 30 years in the future to find himself as a 35-year old. However, those extra five years could be attributed to the time traveling done by the future Stewie Griffin.
• Brian Griffin – The Griffin family's 7-year-old dog, hailing from a farm in Austin, Texas. Brian is unlike other dogs in that he can talk (and unlike Stewie, there is no dispute that everyone can understand him). Despite the fact that no other dogs on the show appear to have the ability to speak, except for his cousin Jasper and the Griffins' first dog, nobody ever seems to find Brian's gift of gab odd (except for one occasion when Peter exclaimed, "Oh my God, you can talk!", despite having known and spoken with Brian for several years by that point). Brian is intelligent and cultured (he went to Brown University and is one course short from graduating), with a sharp wit. Peter is his best friend and at one point Brian became attracted to Lois, though he has shown little interest since. Brian has some issues which have led him to see a psychiatrist, and he is also a borderline alcoholic (one of his favorite drinks is a martini). Brian is the only one who pays attention to what Stewie is saying.

Relatives

• Francis Griffin – Peter's hardline Irish Catholic father. He was formerly an employee of the Pawtucket Mill, and never had time for his son, because he believed that not working was a sin. He was finally forced to of retire after 60 years of hard-working service, but refused to accept retirement, and ended up as a bodyguard for the Pope. He hates Lois (and possibly other non-Catholic people) because she isn't Catholic, even going so far as pinning a big sign on to her wedding car reading "Just Married: To A Protestant Whore." Although he seems gruff and strict on the exterior, Francis cares for Peter deep down. He attended his son's funeral, after Peter was believed to have died. Voiced by Charles Durning. He (probably) secretly converted to Peter's "Church of the Fonz" in a recent episode. His ear hair forms a magical forest for tiny (and sometimes self-concious) gnomes.
• Rose Griffin – Wife to Francis and mother to Peter. Spends most of her time gambling in Vegas. The Griffins have a rocket powered pod installed in the side of their home for a quick escape when Rose visits. She is voiced by Florence Stanley.
• Carter Pewterschmidt – Billionaire industrialist, and owner of U.S. Steel. Husband to Barbara, father to Lois, Carol, Patrick, and apparently a mulatto shoe-shine boy. Loathes Peter intensely. He is voiced by Seth Macfarlane.
• Barbara Pewterschmidt – Wife to Carter, mother to Lois, Carol, and Patrick. Once had an affair with Jackie Gleason, and possibly several other men, but her husband doesn't seem to know or care. Shares her husband's dislike of Peter. She is voiced by Alex Borstein.
• Carol Pewterschmidt – Sister to Lois Griffin and Patrick Pewtershmidt, daughter of Carter and Barbara. Carol has eight ex-husbands, with one of whom she had a baby son (names unknown). Unlike her parents, she doesn't dislike Peter.
• Patrick Pewterschmidt - Lois's brother, who was locked away in a mental institution by their parents Carter and Barbara after he walked in on his mother having sex with Jackie Gleason. He had a nervous breakdown as a result and harbors an intense hatred of fat men to this day. During his temporary release from the mental institution, he became the Quahog Fat Guy Strangler and nearly killed Peter. He has an invisible/imaginary wife named Marian, but she is believed to be real because a cucumber was pickled after three weeks of being left inside where her vagina would be.
• Marguerite Pewterschimdt– Great-aunt to Lois Griffin. She owned the palacial Cherrywood Manor (it takes a half an hour just to get to the mansion from the front gate) in Newport, which Lois inherits from her upon her death and where the Griffins briefly lived, and which is now known to be "America's first presidential whorehouse." She shares Barbara and Carter's dislike of Peter. Dies while paying the Griffins a visit (deceased).
• Biscuit – Brian's mother. She died, and her owners had her stuffed and turned into a make-shift end table. Biscuit has been given a proper burial by Brian and Stewie. (deceased)
• Coco – Brian's father. Chris mentioned he was hit by a milk truck.(deceased)
• Bertram Griffin – (Originally) unconcieved son of Peter and Lois; commonly referred to as "Stewie's sperm-brother." Fights a miniaturized Stewie to a standstill inside Peter's body, and shares Stewie's hatred of Lois and Jason Patric. After meeting Bertram, Stewie at first looks forward to having a new partner in his matricidal efforts, but later changes his mind, fearing that Bertram could someday become a threat. In a recent episode, he is born to a lesbian woman after Peter donates his sperm and thereafter becomes Stewie's archnemesis. Voiced by Wallace Shawn.
• Jasper – Brian's gay cousin, known for constantly telling dirty jokes. Self-described rice queen. Brian rooms with Jasper when he moves to Hollywood to direct porn movies. He teaches a dance class at Club Med. He's the only other dog (excluding the Griffin's first dog) who talks that has been seen on the show besides Brian.
• Seabreeze - The Pewterschmidt family dog, a prize-winning greyhound. Once had an affair with Brian, but was already pregnant with Ted Turner's puppies.
• Nathaniel "Nate" Griffin – Black ancestor to Peter, who lived during the American Civil War. His master was an ancestor of Lois' father, Carter Pewterschimdt. The book entitled “Griffin Genealogy” featured in the episode “Peter Griffin: Husband, Father...Brother?” says that in 1840, Nate used to groom horses. (Deceased)
• Osais Griffin – Chris’ great great grandfather, who owned one of the first dozen telephones and his phone number was 3. Mentioned in the episode “Peter Griffin: Husband, Father...Brother?” when Peter and Chris go to the Quahog Public Library to learn about the Griffin family history. Chris finds a book entitled “Griffin Genealogy” and Peter reads the excerpts for Osais, Thomas and Nate. (deceased)
• Thomas Griffin – Osais' great great grandfather, who was a great philosopher. In the episode “Peter Griffin: Husband, Father...Brother?” there is a scene where he is asked by his wife “Thomas would you please go look for a job!” and he responds, "Why?". (deceased)
• Silas Pewterschmidt - One of Lois' ancestors, one of the first to colonize America. Bartered with indians by receiving corn in exchange for sparing a baby's life. (deceased)
• Cousin Janeen – The cousin who is mocked by the Griffins, Peter and Chris specifically, behind her back because of her Diabetes. Perhaps she's the cousin Peter "felt up in the garage that Thanksgiving when I was 19"
• Uncle Jerry – Lois' uncle who made snuff films
• Kathy Griffin - Peter's cousin, a real-life comedian who is as annoying in the show as she is considered in real life.
• Huck Griffin – Peter's great-great uncle, who sailed down the Mississippi River with a slave. Huck's use of the word "Negro" is implied, as the cutaway begins with Jim being angry at him for using "our word" to which he responds by asking, "Could you pass me the paddle, N-word Jim?" A parody of Huckleberry Finn. (Deceased)
• Peter's Grandfather – Grandfather to Peter and father to Francis Griffin (or possibly Mrs. Griffin). He was among the men at Warner Brothers who created Bugs Bunny, but he wanted the character to be named 'Ephraim the Retarded Rabbit.' (Deceased)
• Angus Griffin – a Scottish ancestor of Peter Griffin. He was among the men who first invented golf, with '"no blacks or Jews"' allowed.
• Juarez Griffin – a Spanish ancestor of Peter Griffin who took part in several cockfights. He was roughly the size of a chicken.
• Jabba the Griffin – a distant relative of Peter's with an uncanny resemblance to Jabba the Hut. He speaks with a pseudo-Huttese accent. Jabba The Griffin's only recognizable words are "wookie nipple pinchie".
• Ulysses Griffin – Peter's great-great grandfather who fought for the Yankees in the Civil War. He is known to have beaten Robert. E. Lee in a beer drinking contest. A parody of Ulysses S. Grant.
• Peter's other Civil War participant ancestors were conjoined twins who chose opposing sides in the war. The one who fought for the union killed the other, who continued decomposing until he was a skeleton.
• King Arthur Griffin – An ancient medieval ancestor of Peter. A parody of King Arthur. Noted for saying "If I move it an inch, will you touch me?" to queen Guenevere.
• Ella Fitzgerald Griffin – Great-aunt of Peter Griffin, who was a jazz singer. After sustaining a high note during a scat solo on a jazz club gig with a young Ray Charles, the champagne glass on his piano shattered, sending shards of glass into his eyes. An obvious parody of Ella Fitzgerald.
• Ponce de Leon Griffin - Peter's explorer ancestor, who searched for the fountain of youth. Once he found it, he waded in it, and emerged from the water with the body of a baby, but the only part of his body that didn't touch the water (his head) stayed fully mature and grown. "That was worth the eight and a half year boat ride." (deceased)
• Rufus Griffin - Peter's black cousin, who starred in many blaxploitation films, namely "Black to the Future", a parody of "Back to the Future"
• Quark Griffin- Referred to by Stewie as his cousin, Quark is an alien famous for being the bartender in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
• Stewie Cruise - Stewie's hyperactive cousin, a parody of Tom Cruise who appears on Oprah, yelling "I'm in love with Katie Holmes! I'm not gay! Go see my new movie!"

Other Families

Quagmires

• Glenn Quagmire - The Griffin's next-door neighbor, who is a pleasure-seeker and has a house with a bar, a la Austin Powers. His career is as an airplane pilot. He has love for many women, particularly Lois, and one time, nearly got married. Almost everything in his house folds out into a bed, as revealed in "The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire" when Cleveland hits much of the house's furniture with a large-stick, causing it all to shift to bed mode.
• Joan Quagmire- Formerly Peter's maid for a week, but became Quagmire's love interest on her last day as a maid. She is suicidal, and said she would kill Quagmire, and herself, if he left her. She died after touching Death. (deceased.)
• Quagmire's Mother - Quagmire once mentioned that he only grew up with his mother, meaning she was either a prostitute before he was born, or that his father left her when he was born. She also triggered his perverse ways, if he didn't have them already, by breastfeeding him. Their relationship becomes even more questionable in the episode "Brian the Bachelor". When Quagmire takes The Bachelorette home to meet his family, he tells his mother to stop screaming at him, adding 'Do you want this threesome to happen or not?' In her older years, she is cranky and seems to love the cat Mittens more than her son, maybe because he hasn't fathered any (legitimate) children.
• Unnamed Spanish Son-Quagmire's (possible) son often comes home late at night and ticks off his mother. He (perhaps involuntarily) puts a lot of "giggidy-giggidy!" into his spanish phrases, unlike his father, who uses it more as a catchphrase.

Browns

• Cleveland Brown - An African-American neighbor of the Griffins. Cleveland owns a delicatessen. He is divorced, and is also very weak-willed, and speaks very slowly, after he got hit on the head by a totem pole as an auctioneer. His brain damage may have contributed to his divorce.
• Loretta Brown - Cleveland's ex-wife, who was divorced by Cleveland for sleeping with Quagmire. She may have cheated on him because he is so boring.
• Cleveland Brown Jr. - Cleveland and Loretta's son, who suffers from ADD. Cleveland says he has done nothing about it: "Sometimes I wonder if he's got the epilepsy. But then I go see what's on the TV."
• Broderick Brown - Cleveland's brother, a plastic surgeon and liposuctionist who slimmed Peter down.
• Chet Brown - Cleveland's uncle, who's body is still in his guest room. He died sometime between The Today Show, and The Tonight Show.

Swansons

• Joe Swanson-The Griffins' paraplegic neighbor, who, despite his injury, is extremely enthusiastic and has even made his family stand still. He got his injury after the Grinch pushed him off the roof of a house with a roller-skate on Christmas Eve, and to this day, Joe has held a grudge against Christmas.
• Bonnie Swanson - Joe's timid wife, who has been pregnant since her first appearance. She has not yet managed to deliver her baby, which is hardly surprising, as none of the characters age (except maybe Meg and Chris). Peter has even commented on it ("You've been pregnant for six years, either have the baby or don't!")
• Kevin Swanson - Joe and Bonnie's teenage son. He is the closest thing Meg normally has to a boyfriend.

Goldmans

• Mort Goldman - A Jewish pharmacist, and one of Peter's friends. He is not very confident in himself, and sometimes sings soppy songs.
• Muriel Goldman - Mort's wife. She met him on a video dating service. Strangely enough, she finds him attractive and charming.
• Neil Goldman - Mort and Muriel's son. Unlike his father, he is very confident in himself. He is always asking Meg out ("like once a day") and she always rejects him. He may be even too confident for his own good, as he doesn't seem to realise Meg dislikes him. Has a ssshpeech impediment due to his wearing a retainer. (When he removes the retainer, however, he suddenly talks with a smooth, mature, dignified voice.)

Tuckers

• Tom Tucker - The local newscaster, who works at Channel 5. He is extremely sarcastic, most likely because he is ashamed of his son Jake (who has an upside-down face), and has nothing better to do than wind everybody up, particularly his co-worker Diane Simmons.
• Stacy Tucker - Tom's current wife, and Jake's stepmother. It is possible that Tom may have divorced or killed his first wife for giving birth to Jake.
• Jake Tucker - Tom Tucker's son, whose face is upside-down. He is told that he doesn't have a bottom, and it is implied that his penis is in a wrong place.

Jack's Family

(surname unknown)

• Jack – Loving man who has adopted many children from various races in order to create the beginnings of racial harmony. He briefly adopted Stewie after Child Services thought the baby was addicted to crack.
• Sarah – Married to Jack; refused to return Stewie to the Griffins until they bribed her with a Prada bag.
• Li – One of the adopted babies, with an Asian background.
• Paco – One of the adopted babies, with a Hispanic background.
• Ura – One of the adopted babies, with an African background
• Gandhi- One of the adopted babies, with an Indian background
• Unnamed babies- The other two babies, who appear to be Incan and Inuit.

Campbell

• Dave Campbell – Nudist. Dave was once saved from drowning by Peter Griffin. He is the husband of Dotty, and is father of Jeff. Member of the KISS Army. Voiced by Fred Willard
• Dotty Campbell – Nudist. Wife of Dave, and mother of Jeff.
• Jeff Campbell – 16-year-old son of Dave and Dotty. Jeff is also a nudist, and once dated Meg Griffin.
• (Un-named toddler) Campbell - Referenced when the Griffins arrive to the dinner invite. "Look at you, you little jaybird." Not seen again.

Pinchley

• Nigel Pinchley – Father to Eliza. Briefly owner of the Drunken Clam before attempting to claim insurance by burning it down and framing Peter. Lois discovered his fraud. He was eventually deported back to England, then hanged. (deceased.)
• Eliza Pinchley – Daughter of Nigel Pinchley. Since his hanging, she has lived in an orphanage, but plots revenge against Lois, whom she blames for her father's death, much to Stewie's delight. Before arriving in Quahog, she speaks in a thick cockney accent, but Stewie trains her to speak in a "Queen's English" accent, based on the musical My Fair Lady.

Stevenson

• Jim Stevenson – Bought the Griffins' house briefly when Peter was unable to pay a loan back to the bank. He is a very cultured man, and is married to Abby. Stewie was angered by his inability to play Pictionary well.
• Abby Stevenson – Wife of Jim.

Isaacs

• Glen Isaacs – Has a fetish for brain tumors. He is married to Judy.
• Judy Isaacs – Has an inoperable brain tumor. She is married to Glen.

Nelson

• Jerry Nelson – Local ninja, husband of Janey. One of the finders of the Pawtucket Patriot's Silver Scrolls.
• Janey Nelson – Wife of Jerry.

The Evil Monkey

• The Evil Monkey – Lives in Chris' closet and frequently gestures toward him in a threatening manner (see picture). Despite this, the monkey seems fond of Chris, as he was saddened when Chris joined the Peace Corps. When Doug the Pimple was giving him trouble, Chris exclaimed "I'm in no mood!!" when The Evil Monkey came to do his gesture, and this seemed to break the monkey's heart. No one in Chris' family believes him when he tries to tell them of the existence of the evil monkey. Evil Monkey turned evil after coming home early to tell his wife he'd made partner only to find her in bed with another monkey. When not menacing Chris, the Evil Monkey likes to relax, listen to Foghat, and smoke weed (A parody of the closing scene from the movie "Dazed and Confused").
• The Evil Monkey's wife – Cheated on her husband with another monkey, maybe because he had a mediocre job at first.
• The Cheating Monkey – Not actually part of the same monkey family as the previous two, only listed here because he had sex with the Evil Monkey's wife.
• The Evil Asian Monkey – may just be the "normal" Evil Monkey with a wig on. If not, the Evil Asian Monkey lives in Asiantown and has black hair. This monkey is seen only once when the Griffins are running from the police.

Peter's work colleagues

Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Company

• Jonathan Weed – Owner of the toy factory. Homosexual, who often appoints male employees based on their physical appearance. His family's name was "Bermuda Grass," but it was changed to "Weed" when they immigrated through Ellis Island. In the episode "Mr. Saturday Knight", he choked on a dinner roll and died. In his will, he stated that the factory be destroyed, and it was. His video will was partially taped over a homemade sex video involving him and his lawyer. (deceased)
• Guillermo – Handsome Hispanic employee hired as a ringer for the company softball team. Came with Weed to opening night of Peter's play. (removed from show)
• Charlie – Friend of Peter. (removed from show)
• Derek – Sat at Peter's table in the company cafeteria during lunch. He is homosexual and Peter tried to set him up with John, who claims he is not gay. Derek drives a two-seater car. (removed from show)
• Johnson – Employee. Johnson developed the "G.I. Jew" dolls and exclaimed, "Whoa! Glad he's on our side!." (removed from show)
• John – Sat at Peter's table in the company cafeteria during lunch. Peter thinks he's gay, and Peter's homosexual friend Derek, likes him. (removed from show)
• Kenneth – The factory's "bad-ass mail clerk with a heart of gold." He donates half of his paychecks to "orphans. Orphans with diseases." (removed from show)
• Sarah Bennett – Employee of the toy company. Once made a sexual harassment complaint about Peter Griffin. Loves "jokes". Was caught on tape taking a dump at work.
• Leonard Hayle – Mr. Weed's lawyer; handled the affairs of Mr. Weed's death. Also Mr. Weed's lover. (removed from show)
• Harrison – Replaced Mr. Weed during the brief time the toy company was owned by El Dorado Cigarettes. (removed from show)
• Jerry – Executive with El Dorado Cigarettes. Appears in subliminal messages in old TV programs such as "Lassie", encouraging people to smoke by randomly popping in and saying, "Smoke...". Enjoys shooting his puppies. (removed from show)

Fishermen

• Pasqual and Santos – Portuguese immigrants who work as fishermen with Peter. One was a cardiologist in Portugal. Eventually, Peter couldn't afford them, so he decides to shoot them. Thankfully, they swam away in time. Also, the fishermen offered to babysit Stewie, until Stewie reminded them that no Portuguese were allowed. (removed from show)
• Henessy – Rival fisherman who dislikes Peter. Voiced by Michael Chiklis.
• Salty – Fisherman who faked his own death at the hands of Daggermouth in order to gain money from merchandising.
• Seamus – Fisherman with wooden limbs. When asked whether he has the limbs because of an accident, he responds, "No, me father was a tree." Based on the nature of Family Guy, it is debatable whether or not he was sarcastic. Claims to have gotten a splinter when he was at the sperm bank.
• name unknown – Fisherman eaten alive by a shark at a fair. Ironically, the proceeds of the fair were going to the families of shark attack victims.
• Daggermouth – Talking fish robot created by Salty.
• Boom Boom – effeminate cartoon cat, friend of Daggermouth. Created as a parody of Nickelodeon's programming.

Renaissance Fair

• Black Knight – Once saved Peter's life, then later became his nemesis. Voiced by Will Ferrell.
• Maid Madeleine – The Black Knight's trophy wench. Every man who sees her gets an erection.
• Drill sergeant (unnamed) – Leader of the jousters. Voiced by R. Lee Ermey.

Pawtucket Brewery

• Peter's boss (unnamed) - Tells Peter that employees are welcome to free Pawtucket ale, but since Peter can't control his drinking, he demotes Peter to the shipping department.
• Angela - Peter's supervisor, in charge of the shipping department. Thinks Opie is more competent than Peter. Voiced by Carrie Fisher.
• Opie - Peter's former co-worker, who has been promoted ahead of Peter. Like Peter, he has mental retardation, but for him, it's more severe, as he has a bad haircut and speaks unintelligebly.
• Soundwave - A Transformer, who is also Peter's co-worker.

James Woods Regional High School

• Connie D'Amico – Most popular girl in school; often appears conceited. Does not like Meg.
• Doug – Friend of Connie.

• Toad Girl – Classmate of Meg's, who resembles a toad.
• Jennifer – Briefly Meg's friend before committing suicide (accidently) as part of the Heaven's Helper's Cult. (deceased)

A cut-away reveals that she spent the night by his bed-side with garlic and a wooden stake in her hands to protect him from vampires. He also thinks that Meg shouldn't hang out with the "popular clique", and when he catches her with them, he tells her to play alone somewhere. He also says that having Meg as a lab partner is irresponsible, because he says Meg is awful at Science. He has also accidentally taped over an episode of Nova with a sex tape he made with his wife, portraying him as a transvestite.
• Mr. Lazenby – Teacher once arrested for teaching crackpot theories involving Gil Gerard traveling back in time and ejaculating into the primordial ooze.
• Mrs. Canner – A teacher of Meg's who fell into the "cool crowd" at school because she owned a Prada bag, much to Meg's chagrin.
• Principal Shepherd – School Principal. Has been seen wearing a shirt with the word "Principal" on it. He is also Jewish.
• Craig Hoffman – A rebel who Meg tries to go out with at first. A rebel who lives by his own rules and nobody else's, not even his own.
• Sarah - Lesbian classmate of Meg and member (or president) of Lesbian Alliance Club. Briefly attracted to Meg.
• unknown gym teacher - Rumored to be a pedophile, as she once told a group of girls to "Take it off, get in the shower and bounce around for me". In another episode, it is confirmed that she is a lesbian, as she appeared at a sperm bank with her partner. She is now one of the father (as her partner gave birth) of Stewie's half-brother Bertram.
• Cecilia - A girl who dated Neil Goldman for a time before he dated Meg. After be broke up with Meg he called her back asking to hook up again. It is unknown whether or not she accepted.

• Principal Sloane - Principal, who reassigns Brian to Remedial English, but doesn't want to negotiate because he is on holiday in the Bahamas, and instructing his masseur to massage his testicles, implying that he is homosexual.
• Randall Fargus – Long-time teacher. Taught Peter when he attended school. Considered a hippie, he was made to take medication to control his hyperactive tendencies. Briefly convinced by Peter to go off his medication, Mr. Fargus was fired after destroying several California condor eggs. Peter rehired him after becoming school board president. Presumably killed by Hall Monitor Robot.
• Mrs. Clifton – Teacher. In Fast Times at Buddy Cianci Junior High, she quits after winning the lottery.
• Mr. McCloud – Teacher. Is unaware of the existence of Judaism.
• Brian Griffin – Chris' former teacher before being reassigned to Remedial English (for full information on Brian, see Brian Griffin)
• Jake Tucker – Classmate of Chris Griffin. Known as Upside-down-head-boy as his head is upside down (which, for some reason, also means he has no sphincter, and that his penis may be in an odd place, as he once invites Meg to "go up on me", rather than using the common colloquialism "go down" for oral sex). Son of news anchorman Tom Tucker.

• Paul Lewis – Classmate of Chris Griffin. Chris once helped raise money for an organ transplant for Paul.

• Brenda – An old school friend of Peter's. Extraordinarily overweight, she did not realize that she was pregnant until she suddenly gave birth on her front porch. She is a chain smoker, and smokes through her tracheotomy incision. She appears to have only gotten this way since graduating high school.
• Phoebe Diamond – Peter's first crush. Fate unknown after Peter punched her accidentally into a locker because of a "nervous twitch" he developed trying to ask her to the prom, though likely survived. Peter mentions when he is trying to speed things up in bed, he thinks of Phoebe.
• Patty - An obvious parody of The Peanuts character. She is a lesbian.

• Coco – Lois' childhood friend. Jonathan thinks she's "a little bit of terrific".

Channel 5

• Diane Simmons – News Anchor and talk show hostess. (Birth name: Diane Seidelman). Has been quoted to say, "I just plain don't like black people." She and fellow anchor Tom Tucker have a hate-hate relationship with each other, often trading insults live on the air. On one occasion, Tom said "didn't your first husband blow his brains out?", causing her to break down and cry on the air, possibly revealing that she has finally stopped tolerating his insults. Typical quote: "Tom, you're so deep in the closet, you're finding Christmas presents." She has been known to have male prostitutes delivered to her dressing room. She also has her own talk show, and was going to star in Peter's version of "The King and I".
• Tom Tucker – News Anchor. Also sometimes appearing is his son Jake Tucker, whose face is, inexplicably, upside down. Tom's wife and Jake's stepmother is Stacy, who Tom called a "frigid old cow" in the episode "I Never Met the Dead Man." In another episode, Tom took Jake to the psychiatrist, and told him, "I know Stacy isn't your mother, but you have to respect her!" He dislikes his co-anchor Diane Simmons and frequently trades insults with her on-air. One possible reason is because he is ashamed of his freak son and takes his anger out on Diane, although even as a kid he once told her guys would run away from her. In the Stewie Griffin movie, it is revealed that his moustache is fake, and is studio property after he turns it in after being fired, although he gets it back after firing Peter. Typical quote: "Some breaking news: we now go live to Diane being a bitch. Diane?" Their hate for each other wasn't spawned until after "I Never Met the Dead Man", as Tom said "Well Diane, that last report was so good I think you deserve a spanking". Which he (almost) proceeded to spank her with a sex paddle. In fact, Tom may hate Diane because he never got to spank her.
• Asian Reporter Tricia Takanawa – Asian News Reporter. She is always described as "Asian Reporter Tricia Takanawa," even in conversation between the various members of the Griffin family. A parody of Connie Chung, other characters occasionally call her Connie. In the episode "Da Boom" Tricia was eaten by Tom Tucker and Diane Simmons, and Peter remarked that they would be hungry in another hour (because of the belief that Oriental food is not very filling). In the Stewie Griffin movie, she confirmed that she is Japanese — Takanawa is a Japanese name — after Tom was confused about what heritage she is. She really has a thing for David Bowie and has dry humped his leg at least once. Interestingly and unlike her fellow newspeople, Tricia often displays an especially stoic attitude, perhaps to contrast the fact that she's most often live in the field.
• Steven C. Callaghan – Station Manager.
• Hispanic Reporter Maria Jimenez – Hispanic News Reporter; rarely featured, usually only if Asian Reporter Tricia Takanawa is already somewhere else. Tom Tucker cannot pronounce her name. Unlike Asian Reporter Tricia Takanawa, she doesn't have an accent.
• Ollie Williams – An African American with the Blaccuweather forecast (name taken from AccuWeather). Like Asian Reporter Tricia Takanawa, Ollie Williams is a parody of racial tokenism within television news. Ollie speaks only in short, booming phrases: for instance, ISS GON' RAIN! Ollie also reported on Jake Tucker's punishment, to which he yelled HE GON' GIT IT!. In the Family Guy Movie, after Ollie asks "WHO WANTS THIS DOG???" for the 'Adopt-a-Pet of the Week' feature, Tom visits the station and intrudes upon the news broadcast (having been previously fired) and complains on-air about not being able to check his email from home. Ollie gives him assorted computer advice such as "DID YOU CHECK THE TCP/IP SETTINGS?", "ENABLE COOKIES?" and afterwards asks "YOU WANT THIS DOG?". In a later episode, reporting on a hurricane, Ollie carries out an extensive dialogue with Tom Tucker, appraising the storm with the simple line, IT'S RAININ' SIDEWAYS!. Ollie has apparently received a slight promotion, having performed at least one traffic report, in which he stated. EVERYBODY LOOK LIKE ANTS! Famous around the internet. He is probably a spoof of Al Roker. Voiced by Phil LaMarr.
• Jay Mohr-lookalike – Producer who creates the Griffin TV show.
• Sean Penn – Former weatherman. Sean's violent character wasn't suited for his position.
• Greg the Weather Mime – A mime, who Tom Tucker presents to do the weather. He uses body language and hand gestures to convey the weather, while Tom Tucker interprets it as "people's angry parents throwing feces at them". He has only appeared once as a weather forecaster, presumably because he was fired for being unintelligible, or he quit because of Tom Tucker's interpretations of his body language. Either way, it is likely Ollie Williams has replaced him as a weather forecaster. According to the Official Family Guy Episode Guide for Seasons 1-3, Seth MacFarlane claims to have a script entitled "Greg the Weather Mime Has a Baby," which he plans to use as an actual episode to burn off if Family Guy reaches an 11th season.
• Meg Griffin – Intern at the Weather station; a junior anchorwoman.
• Neil Goldman – Intern at the Weather station; a junior anchorman.
• Peter Griffin - Had a segment on the Channel 5 News titled, "Grinds my gears" in the movie Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. His trademark line was, "You' know what really grinds my gears...?" followed by rambling. He was fired after Tom Tucker revealed footage of a drunken Stewie after he had crashed through the wall of "The Drunken Clam." After being fired Peter stated, "You know what really grinds my gears? You, America. F*** you."

Hospital

• Dr. Hartman – Stewie's Pediatrician. Has been sued by every patient he ever had due to the fact he's not very good with his job.
• Dr. Kaplan – Brian's psychiatrist. Voiced by Sam Waterston.
• Dr. Mattits Wilson – A specialist in acupuncture. He is Chinese, but speaks with an Irish brogue. Rejected by Brian as a quack. Stores his "accupuncture needles" box next to his "poison tipped needles". Is apparently either illiterate, cannot read English, or nearsighted.
• Dr. Gary Miller – Lois' Gynecologist. He shares his medical practice with Dr. Fred Rubin.
• Dr. Fred Rubin – Gynecologist who shares his medical practice with Dr. Gary Miller. One of his patients is Alexis Radcliffe.
• Meg's Gynecologist – Meg's unnamed gynecologist. Meg was upset when she found out that he did not finish medical school, in fact pronouncing vagina as "bergina".
• Nurse – Unnamed nurse in Dr. Hartman's office.

Criminals

• The Don – Mafia Boss of Rhode Island.
• Big Fat Paulie – Nephew of the Don, Paulie is an incredibly annoying and obnoxious man. He is eventually riddled with bullets in a drive-by-shooting. (deceased)
• Larry – Mafia Hitman, hired by Paulie to kill Lois. Larry is son-in-law to the Don.
• Steve Bellows – Murderer, arrested by Joe Swanson. Once shot a man for snoring. Often says, "You're dead!" Threatens to kill Peter and his friends when they are jailed. Turns over a new leaf (maybe) when he stabs himself, discovers that it hurts, and says "Is this what I've been doing to people?? God... I belong in here."
• unknown female – The Don's Daughter. She is married to Larry.
• unknown male – Introduces Peter to the Mafia. Peter claims he has an honest face, but this is disputable.
• Mass Media Murderer – Murderer, hates Dan Rather, almost killed Meg and Neil, causing them to kiss. Thwarted by Hugh Downs.
• unknown criminal (possibly the Mass Media Murderer) – A small-time thief, identified by Chris in a line-up, who eventually pursues the Griffin family due to FBI incompetence at concealing their location. Killed in a standoff in the fictional town of Bumblescum. If he is not the Mass Media Murderer, they might be brothers or just have an amazing resemblance to each other. (deceased)
• Unknown criminal in Jail – A man who says to Peter "Ooh, more cushion for the pushin'."
• Nigel Pinchley – Sets Peter up for burning his British pub down. He is hung. (deceased)
• The Grinch – He slid a rollerskate under Joe causing him to fall from the roof of an ophanage causing him to become paralyzed from the waist down. He was accused of stealing toys at the orphanage, cursed Joe's name before his execution. (deceased)
• Car Wash Thief- A thief shown wearing a Jimmy Carter mask. After stealing collected car wash money to help a boy at Chris's school who has an iron lung, Joe chases after him. While he managed to retrieve the money, he didn't catch the crook, which soon leads him into a state of depression. When someone finally arrives to claim the money clip that Chris, Meg, and Stewie found, Joe recognizes him as the car wash thief. Joe chases him again, this time leading to the thief's arrest and death, due to Joe accidentally rupturing his spine. This entire segment is a parody of a scene from the 1991 Keanu Reeves police-and-surfing movie Point Break]], in which the gang of bank robbers, "The Ex-Presidents," wear similar rubber masks. Supernatural Characters

• God – Takes an active interest in the goings-on of Quahog and is often involved in humorous situations. Gets really embarrassed when anybody tells the story of Job. Has been portrayed on more than one occasion as a bit of a ladies' man. Has a girlfriend, Janet, who makes him wear condoms. He and Jesus have been known to ride in an Escalade, and he accidentally started a fire in the Drunken Clam.

• Jesus – Performs miracles around Quahog. His portrayal in Family Guy seems to be intentionally comically sacrilegious. In the movie, Stewie once went back in time to visit him, but he finds out all he really did do was dance, sing, and perform phony magic finger tricks, all at the same time. In modern times, however, he is able to turn water into funk.
• Satan - Appears when Peter said he would sell his soul to be famous. Satan was about to make his claim, when his secretary told him that Peter had alrady sold his soul for Bee Gees tickets, and again for half of a Mallomar. Satan asks for a lawyer, and everyone in Hell raises their hand.

Image:FGDeath.jpg Death – Collects the spirits of the dead. Portrayed as a stereotypical "loser", who lives with his mother and has never had a successful date. He doesn't seem to be very good at his job as he is easily fooled by fake deaths. Peter Griffin once stood in for him, tasked with killing the kids from Dawson's Creek. Peter failed in this endeavor, accidentally killing the pilot and co-pilot of the plane, which was safely landed by Karen Black. Voiced by Norm MacDonald in "Death is a Bitch", then Adam Carolla in subsequent episodes, including (but not limited to) "Death Lives", "Mr. Saturday Knight", and "The Perfect Castaway." Is revealed to have a dog who helps him collect the spirits of dead canines.

• Death's Mom – Nagging mother to Death. Voiced by Estelle Harris.
• Death's Dog – Collects the spirits of dead dogs. Similar to the Death of Rats from Discworld. Voiced by Jimmy Kimmel.
• Krishna – Hindu deity, appeared briefly when Peter erroneously thanked Jesus on one occasion, but deferred credit for the miracle, telling Jesus, "No, it's alright. I'm used to it."
• Neptune – Greco-Roman god of the sea. Peter attempted to pass himself off as Neptune, only to be confronted seconds later by the real Neptune, telling Peter, "No you're not, I am! And you know nothing of my work." (A possible reference to a sketch in the Woody Allen movie Annie Hall, in which a man in a movie theater line complains about the work of Marshall McLuhan to which Woody Allen's frustrated character responds by introducing him to Marshall McLuhan, whom he brings out from behind a sign, who replies "I heard what you were saying. You know nothing of my work.")

• Adam West – Mayor of Quahog. He is extremely incompetent and eccentric, with more than a few traits of delusional mental illness. He once used $150,000 of taxpayers' money to find the person who was stealing his water, when naturally it was only being absorbed by a plant. Ended up sleeping with Luke Perry because he thought it would make the water-stealing stop. He also offered a Pawtucket Patriot beer a job as the Head of Sanitation Services in exchange for a Silver Scroll when a promotion was taking place. He has every grave in Quahog covered in cement in case of zombie attacks. He is married to his own right hand and is a man who loves taffy. He also likes Lite-Brite, and the song "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey (especially when amateurs sing the lyrics), hates baseball cards and is willing to participate in a screaming contest with the town. An upcoming episode shows he may be homophobic, despite (or perhaps because of) the fact that he slept with Luke Perry. Voiced by the actor Adam West. He is by now famous for his line "I love this job more than I love taffy. And I'm a man who loves his taffy (Begins to chew taffy in a creepy manner)".
• Al Harrington - A salesman who sells Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Men. He states that they can "Attract customers to your business, make a splash at your next presentation, keep grandma company, protect your crops, confuse your neighbors, African-American? hail a cab, testify in church, or just raise the roof." It is stated that his store, "Al Harrington's Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man Warehouse and Emporium", is located on Route 2 in Weekapaug.
• Amelia Bedford-Furthington-Chesterhill - Employee at the New Yorker. Apparently the only female member.
• Amy – Works in a pet shop. Death had a crush on her, but killed her when she turned out to be irritating. (deceased)
• Antonio Monatti – An Art Dealer, he becomes Chris Griffin's mentor.
• Arsonist Bug- A giant fire-breathing beetle that was a suspect in the burning of the Clam's Head Pub. He now seems to be conspiring with Stewie and Eliza to kill Lois. His only spoken word is "Gooooood..."
• Barnaby – Turn of the Century-style Strongman, partner of Phineas. Possesses near-inhuman strength, and likes to ride on a gigantic penny-farthing bicycle. Their names are a reference to Phineas T. Barnum founder of Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
• Bernie – Manager of Quahog Shady Oaks Retirement Home.
• Bill Lumbergh – The boss of Initech from "Office Space." He is apparently available for Peter to call on to tell Lois to stop complaining ("Yeah... I'm gonna need you to stop complaining, Lois.")
• Brad - A toddler who upstaged Stewie at swimming lessons.
• Carrot Scalp – An awful prop comedian who works at the Native American run casino, Geronimo's Palace Casino. A parody of the comedian Carrot Top.
• Change For A Buck – Employee at the Geronimo's Palace Casino.
• Charlie the Bully – Once stole Stewie's tricycle.
• Deals With His Wrist – Card Dealer at Geronimo's Palace Casino.
• Dora – Prostitute. Once hired by Peter to pose as an old girlfriend to make Lois jealous.
• Doug the Pimple – A zit on Chris' face. His voice and dialogue with Chris are a parody of the 1980s musical film Little Shop of Horrors. Eventually was killed by a cortisone injection. Also had many short-lived pimple friends. (deceased)
• Erica – Appeared on Diane's talk show. Her boyfriend is Mario. She also witnessed Quagmire save a woman's life.
• Felicia – Works at dog pound. Helped Brian study law and prepare his case before the City Council when he was wrongfully imprisoned at the pound. She had a penchant for calling him "sugar" and "sweetness".
• Fielding Wellingtonsworth - Employee for the New Yorker. Offers Brian tea.
• Flappy Jack – Runs a pancake house. Once hired Meg, as he thought she was the single, teenage mother of Stewie.
• Frank – A Native American elder who works at the Geronimo's Palace Casino.
• Gary the No Trash Cougar – A character Peter dresses up as to teach kids not to litter. Uses a gun to scare them and force them to pick up their trash. His meaningless catchphrase is "Give a larbage, throw out your garbage."
• Gerald the happy and abstinent police clown – A happy and abstinent police clown. Why is he happy? Because he is free of S...T... D's!
• The Ghost that Never Lies – Can be seen and heard only by Peter.
• Gloria Ironbachs – Renowned feminist lawyer and campaigner, represented Sarah Bennett in sexual harassment lawsuit against Peter. Presumed a lesbian by many, the character is voiced by Candice Bergen. A parody of Gloria Allred. According to a line in "I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar", she has a penis.
• Harelip Steve – Works for a cleaning company. Has a harelip.
• Henry – Security guard at Quahog Airport. Was frozen in carbonite.
• Herbert the Creepy Old Pedophile – An old and crippled pedophile who lusts impotently after Chris from time to time. He resides just down the street from the Griffins and has tried on several occasions -- unsuccessfully -- to seduce Chris, with such gems as "Hey, muscly arm paperboy, why the long face?" and "You like popsicles?" In a later episode we see him atop a ladder outside of Chris's window peeping in (like Bluto in Animal House (complete with music and Belushi's eyebrow twinkle)). He uses a walker for support and often speaks in a high-pitched, comedically drawn out tone, and also speaks with a lisp (although judging by his lust for children, his voice may also be based on Michael Jackson). • Jeremy – Liddane's boyfriend. Locked in Brian's car trunk for two weeks. Stewie believes he likes playing hackey sack, has Teva sandals, Skoal Bandits, an Abercrombie and Fitch long sleeved, open stitched, crew neck Henley, smokes Sticky Buds out of a soda can, watches downloaded episodes of the Simpsons every night, his favourite episode being Mr. Plow, and he likes to listen to the Strokes. • Jim Kaplan – Con man, goes under many other names. Many of his cons are directed at Peter, as he is so easy to fool. Has sold Peter a car with dents, a steering wheel made out of cardboard, no engine and with James Bond as the alleged previous owner; volcano insurance; a loan in exchange for Peter's house; and a Tivo. He also works as a tattoo artist and once drew a picture of Kermit the Frog on a biker's thigh, despite the fact that the biker wanted a skull.
• Jolene – Works at Airport check-in.
• Lance - Works at the Drunken Clam, has one leg shorter than the other.
• Leonard Cornfeathers – Runs the Geronimo's Palace Casino.
• Liddane – Babysitter that Stewie had a crush on.

• Loca - Chris's wife. She is the daughter of a tribal chieftain in South America. When Chris joins the Peace Corps, he is sent to live at their village. During his stay, he moves the entire tribe to dance, which, according to a tribal custom, said Chris and Loca were married. Chris actually seemed very happy with Loca. According to Lois, God doesn't care about Loca. She stays in South America with her father after the tribe attempted to kill Chris for being a freshman. Seen in Jungle Love .
• Logan – Works for Quahog Pest Control. His family was carried away by red ants.
• Mario – Appeared on Diane's talk show. Boyfriend of Erica. Admitted to actually being a woman, then a horse, then a broom.
• Mark Hentemann – Local Comedian. All his impressions sound the same, but only because everybody in his life did.
• Max Weinstein – Jewish Accountant. Helps Peter with his taxes. He was the Jewish character in the episode "Wish Upon A Weinstein", a controversial episode often linked with the show's initial cancellation.
• Miles "Chatterbox" Musket – Nicknamed Chatterbox because he never stopped talking. Miles and his magic clam founded Quahog. (deceased)

• Opie – A ward of the state who is severely retarded (much more so than Peter), but for some reason he is much more respected, and is even promoted ahead of Peter.
• Paddy Tanninger (the Caddy Manager) – Manager of Quahog golf course. Hired Chris as a 'ball shagger', which immediately doubled his business because everyone wanted to "nail the fat kid". Wants to fight over practically everything. Last seen as Brian's manager at a car dealership.
• Pawtucket Pat – Ran the Pawtucket Patriot Brewery until he sold it sometime before the episode "Jungle Love". He is rarely seen in public. An obvious parody of Willy Wonka.
• Pearl Burton – A jingle singer from the early 40's and 50's; also an accomplished mezzo-soprano. She sang jingles for Dan's Dippity Do and Gold Bond Powder, among many others. Became a recluse out of shame when she tried to attempted to cross over into opera by singing Carmen at Carnegie Hall but the audience only wanted to hear her sing her jingles. Brian was ordered to bring her meals as part of Community Service for a DUI. They ended up falling in love, but she was run over by a truck after stepping out of her house for the first time in 30 years to have dinner with Brian ((deceased)).
• Phineas – Strong man, partner of Barnaby. Their names are a reference to Phineas T. Barnum founder of Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
• The Pope – The Pope occasionally appears, and once visited Quahog. He vaguely resembles a bald John Paul II, but he has not been explicitly referred to as such. Unlike John Paul, he appears to be Italian. He doesn't like wearing his Pope hat "It's a stupid hat.".
• Rabbi Goldberg – Quahog's Rabbi, voiced by Ben Stein.
• Reginald B. Stifworth – A young upstart chap who's been touting the merits of a united European commonwealth. He is the victim of a drive-by argument.
• Rupert – Stewie's favorite teddy bear. Stewie treats Rupert as if he were real, and Stewie thinks he is gay. However, this is probably only because of Stewie's own sexual orientation. He was once left in charge of watching the bags when waiting to board a plane, which got stolen because he was "looking at the boys again", however, this is only what Stewie thought, again probably because Stewie is gay.
• Sam – Bumblescum inhabitant. Chris' first girlfriend. Chris originally believed Sam was a boy.
• Sandy - One of Death's first girlfriends, and who he most likely lost his virginity with. Died in sexual intercourse with Death, and later had necrophilia committed on her by Death. ((deceased)).
• Vanessa – Chris's wife in the future in Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story Very foul-mouthed. Before Stewie goes from the future to present time, he is asked by Lois to prevent Vanessa from marrying Chris. He does so by blowing her up on the altar with a missile launcher.
• Warren Fredericks – Runs Quahog Beautiful People's Club. Believes the doors in supermarkets would open for him because he's beautiful, even if they weren't designed to open automatically
• Watches You Pee – Bathroom Attendant at the Geronimo's Palace Casino.
• Welsley Shephardson - An employee at the New Yorker, who employs Brian, but fires him when Brian reveals that he is a college dropout. He has no anus, and has an extremely strange laugh.

• The Man In White – A cult leader who tries to get teens to commit suicide. (An obvious reference to Heaven's Gate cult leader Marshall Applewhite.) Killed by Stewie, who thought that he was trying to put him back in Lois' womb. (deceased) Voiced by John O'Hurley.
• Dead guy – Chris was shown the Dead guy by Sam, his friend from Bumblescum. They poked him with a stick, with Chris remarking, "the best things in life really are free!" (obviously deceased)
• The Deer – A sentient deer who can drive cars and snowmobiles. First apeared when he and Peter were involved in an auto accident, and again when Peter and Chris went hunting, following his snowmobile tracks.

• Evil Rats – Nearly prepared for their imminent invasion of the surface world, although they haven't done anything.
• Exotic Entertainment Shop Assistant – First appeared in "Chitty Chitty Death Bang" and reappeared in "Mr. Saturday Knight" atop his obese donkey ("fat ass"), since it was his only means of conveyance. He teaches a CPR course, and appears on the school board committee of James Woods Regional High School. He brings coffee and Oreos to his CPR classes, but nobody eats any, so he, stupidly and irresponsibly, brings them home for his cats. In the movie, it was strongly implied that he is a homosexual ("If I wanted to hear eighty-one minutes of gay-bashing, I would have gone to my father's house."). He was shown in a grocery store express lane, with one too many items. He did not want to cheat the system, even though he would be allowed to buy an extra item, and go in the express lane. In the commentary he is referred to as the “performance artist.” This character's voice and personality were used as Jaws in Jaws: Fire Island.
• German Tour Guide – Suspiciously in denial of German history between 1939 and 1945. Knows one of the Hitler speeches by heart.
• Giant Chicken has a long and complicated fight scene with Peter in a cutaway in "Da Boom!" as a result of giving Peter a bad coupon. Although the original episode was a flashback sequence, the chicken returned for another lengthy fight scene in "Blind Ambition". Is apparently immortal.
• Greased Up Deaf Guy – first appeared as part of a company event "Catch the Greased Up Deaf Guy", and has since appeared in the first episode of season 4 claiming "I used to be a lawyer." He hints at his law career ending due to a coke addiction, and the credits for episode 2. He also seems to be giving Mort Goldman trouble at his pharmacy. In Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, he appears at the red carpet of the movie premiere, apparently now a folk legend and Ward of the State. He can speak well, but somewhat out of tone. He asks only that people not judge him, since he's just doing his thing.

Peter gave her a black eye, but while under house arrest he sent her a jack-in-the-box as a peace offering which just ended up giving her a second black eye after it popped out. Strangely enough, Peter has been the only person to mistake her for a man.

• Trees - Around Quahog are many trees with the ability to talk, usually through a knot in their trunk. The Candy Tree, a deadly variant native to Quahog, lures children in by growing what look to be large lollipops on its branches. When the children get close enough, they are eaten. This is a referance to the Kite-Eating Tree from Peanuts, which does the same thing to kites flown too close to it.
• Two Vaudevillian characters – They periodically show up, one of them playing a piano.

However, when Peter fantasizes about being in hell, he sees Hitler there, so he definitely is dead. (deceased). His birthday is April 20 which in most cultures is 4-20

• Alfred Hitchcock - Shadow seen in a hotel window while the classic theme of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" plays while Peter and Lois are having an affair, due to her marriage to Brian.
• Alyssa Milano - Featured in original live-action footage watching an episode of Family Guy in which Peter makes a joke about her. She angrily turns and calls to her lawyer, who quickly replies, "I'm suing, I'm suing!"

• Emperor Palpatine – Encourages Cleveland to kill Quagmire before Lois knocks him over, claiming that he's not helping the situation.
• Frank Sinatra, Jr. - Encourages Brian to live life to the fullest and, with Stewie, they form the new Rat Pack.
• Gene Shalit - Peter describes him as dreadful. In another episode, Peter transforms into him, playing a practical joke. He has also been known to mug Peter.
• George W. Bush – Shows up in 1981 for the Vietnam War, only to find out the war ended. Was found hiding in his treehouse by Brian following Hurricane Katrina, but refused to come down and begged Brian not to make him "do stuff." Previously had Peter, wearing a clown nose, perform for him.
• The Great Gazoo – Calls Peter a "dumb-dumb" in "Wasted Talent". [reference to the Flintstones]

While the Griffin family is on the lam (due to Lois' shoplifting spree) Peter says "Oh my God, it's Jackie Chan" every time he sees an Asian person in Asiantown. Eventually one person who really is Jackie Chan thanks Peter for recognizing him. And then points at Peter and Chris in turn, exclaiming "Oh my God, you're Ethan Hawke!" before mistaking Meg for "Malcom in the Middle!"
• Jackie Gleason - Had an affair with Barbara Pewterschmidt. In a flashback we see Lois' brother, Patrick, walk in on them in a compromising position, and Gleason tells him to beat it. As the view remains on the look of horror on Patrick's face, we hear Gleason yell "Pow! Right in the kisser!" as if to imply that Barbara was performing oral sex on him. also portrayed in a flashback sequence as Ralph Kramden, where we see him follow through on his threats of beating Alice.
• James Woods - Seen in the episode "Peter's Got Woods". He becomes Peter's best friend for some of the episode. Being a native of Rhode Island, several places around Quahog are named after him, notably "James Woods Regional High School", and the local forest "James Woods".
• Joan Cusack - seen in "Blind Ambition" when Peter falls off a roof top landing on Joan Cusack. When she doesn't wake up, Peter stuffs her in a nearby mailbox.
• Joe Pesci - Apparently Loca's father's cousin. He will say any word in a funny voice if you give him a nickel.
• Judd Hirsch – Seen building weapons for the Keebler Elves, which they use against the Rice Krispy Elves (killing Snap).
• Julie Andrews - Parodied for the opening scene from "The sound of music" after Stewie runs her over with his tricycle.
• Kate Moss – Chris' paper-thin date at the art show who was completely at the whims of passing breezes and cracks in the floor. Chris thinks he's seeing the The Matrix, a spoof on Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss, who shares a last name with Kate Moss.
• KISS – Peter's favorite band, and at one time, Lois dated Gene Simmons. They also appeared in the Christmas movie KISS Saves Santa, a parody of KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park.

• Marcie – The very same Marcie Johnson of Peanuts fame, she is portrayed as Peppermint Patty's life partner and both are portrayed as older (perhaps in early thirties) than their comic forms.
• Margot Kidder – Appears in a flashback where she is at the Griffin's for dinner, has a psychotic episode, and jumps out the window. She returns briefly near the end of the episode, claiming she forgot her purse.
• Martha Stewart – Hired by the cigarette company to clean the Griffin house when Peter is made President. When the family leaves to go to Washington, she shows signs of relief and farts.
• Mel Gibson – Appeared in the episode "North by North Quahog", which parodied the Alfred Hitchcock classic North by Northwest. Peter points in the direction of where Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ 2" film is located atop Mount Rushmore. Gibson follows Peter's direction and steps off Mount Rushmore. • Superman – Seen briefly when Peter believes that he's going to hell. Explains that he's in hell because he killed a hooker after she made a crack about him being "faster than a speeding bullet." In a later episode, Peter also recalls a time when he lived with Superman and the Justice League. Pulls the "S" off of his chest to throw it at villains in a highly ineffective attack. Also seen in "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" flying by in Wonder Woman's invisible plane while she was in the lavatory.
• Ted Danson and Mary Steenbergen - Once, Peter met them. Ted appeared with an odd-shaped head, which he used as an umbrella for Mary, because she forgot hers. Unfortunatly, his strange head prevents him from sleeping with her.
• Ted Turner – Head of Turner Broadcasting, plays poker with Carter Pewterschmidt, despite no one liking him. Impregnated Carter's greyhound Seabreeze, implying that he is a zoophile.
• Thundercats – Seen in "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" as Stewie remembers watching "Living Together". Lion-O, Cheetara and Snarf are in Cats' Lair, as Lion-O uses the Sword of Omens to watch Cheetara in the washroom urinating. Lion-O and Cheetara are voiced by the real actors from Thundercats. • Tom Brady - A quarterback from the National Football League's New England Patriots, who lets Peter play for the Patriots.
• Tony Robbins - Famed motivational speaker, shown swallowing Peter whole.
• The Trix Rabbit – Seen in an Asian Trix commercial. When the children state, "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids," he remarks, "You share!", kills them with martial arts-style attacks, and runs away with the cereal. Also caught by Peter in the episode "Da Boom", accusing him of "trying to take Easter away from Jesus".
• United States Supreme Court Justices – The Justices tell David Souter if he wants to be a Supreme Court Justice he must pick up a cherry with his buttocks and drop it in a mug of beer after traveling through an obstacle course. The only person who has a speaking line in the entire cut-away is Sandra Day O'Connor.
• Victoria Principal - Featured in original live-action footage at the end of "Da Boom."
• Vincent Van Gogh - It is revealed that he apparently cut off his ear as a gift for his girlfriend, but when she says it'll be a funny story to tell their children, he reveals that he has cut off his penis as well. Later seen in heaven with Brian, Ernest Hemingway and Kurt Cobain. (deceased)
• Vince Vaughn - Featured at the beginning of "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" in a movie trailer spoof with Susan Sarandon mocking their naturally drooping eyelids.
• Wonder Woman – appeared when Peter recalled playing strip poker with the Super Friends. She loses a hand to Peter and has to take her wonder bra off (and while the rest of the Super Friends stare at her, Robin is staring at Peter). Also seen in "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story" where Superman flys by her invisible plane while she was in the lavatory.
• William Shatner – Formed a brief friendship with Peter before being run over and presumably killed by Meg. Later reappeared in a crowd, non-speaking. Often parodied in other episodes sporting a distinctive acting style similar to that of Captain Kirk, speaking as if "Every. Word. Is. Its. Own. Sentence." Seen performing the opening monologue from Fiddler on the Roof in the style from his musical career and ending with a scream of "Khan! Khan!", spoofing his scream from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
• Wilford Brimley - Wilford Brimley is on a commercial viewed by the Griffins, he explains how tedious diabetes is and claims that he struck his wife after he ran out of Vanilla Ice Cream, only to later find that his wife has been dead for six years.
• Will Ferrell – After watching a particularly unfunny joke in Bewitched, Stewie travels to Will Ferrell's house in Hollywood to punch him in the face. (Incidentally, Will Ferrell provided his voice in Family Guy before.)
• The Wonder Twins – Peter recalls that he was once a Wonder Twin. In the scene, he assumes the shape of Jayna's tampon, jumps into her purse, and plays "the waiting game."
