List of firearms in first-person shooters

Many first-person shooter computer games, in order to achieve a reasonable degree of realism, are designed such that their firearms are similar to or copies of existing and widely used munitions. The following is a list of selected FPS computer games, and those firearms in each with a clear real-life counterpart.

Mêlée weapons (such as knives), grenades or fictitious weapons should not be added in this article. grenade launchers and rocket launchers however, can be added.
