Wikipedia:Articles with slashes in title

From Free net encyclopedia

ja:Wikipedia:Articles with slashes in title This is a list of articles with slashes in the title that are not subpages. It helps checking the queries made for Wikipedia:Subpages to be moved.

Contents

Can't be linked to at all

This is a title containing a period which would be interpreted by web browsers, and which can only be seen by using an outside link to Wikipedia. The insoluble problem is the period, not the slash.

The first link is a redirect to Slashdot. The second and third links above are produced by [[:/.]] and [[/.]] respectively: they actually link to the Slash (punctuation) article via a redirect.

Links to titles with an initial /

See here for full list. For other titles starting with a "/", there are two ways of achieving the desired result:

  1. prepend a ":" to the link (for example [[://Gana language]]) as you would for an inline interlanguage or category link; or
  2. use "/" instead of the "/" (for example [[//Gana language]]
