The Cleveland Barons were a professional hockey team in the American Hockey League. The played in Cleveland, Ohio, USA at the Quicken Loans Arena between 2001 and 2006. The team was moved to Worcester, Massachusetts and renamed the Worcester Sharks after the 2005-06 season.

History
The Barons name was resurrected in 2001 when the Kentucky Thoroughblades from Lexington, Kentucky moved to Cleveland. The current Barons are the farm team of the San Jose Sharks and play their home games at Quicken Loans Arena. The franchise was relocating to Worcester, Massachusetts for the 2006-07 season and became the Worcester Sharks.
